One of the lanyard production processes - heat transfer technology

      The lanyards that can be seen everywhere in life are simple but not ordinary, low-key but not credited, do you want to know what kind of technology they are made of? Let's take a brief look at one of these technologies - thermal transfer technology.

Thermal transfer is to design the pattern, make a copper plate, engrave the pattern on the copper plate by color by electro-engraving machine, and then take the copper plate to the printing machine to print the pattern on the PET film, and finally pass the thermal transfer machine. The pattern is transferred to the product. Thermal transfer is also divided into ordinary thermal transfer and digital thermal transfer.

The process of digital thermal transfer is as follows:
1. Create a high-resolution image;
2. Print the pattern on the thermal transfer paper through the thermal transfer printer;
3. The pattern can be printed on the product with ordinary machinery such as hot stamping machine.
This method has a relatively low output, and a machine can only print thousands of products in one working hour a day.

Common heat transfer process:
1. Create a high-resolution image;
2. According to the size of the picture, make a dot-type gravure electric engraving plate;
3. Install the gravure on the printing machine and print it on the PET polyester film to print it into a heat transfer printing film;
4. Install the thermal transfer printing film on the thermal transfer stamping machine for printing.
A thermal transfer hot stamping machine can print tens of thousands of products in one working hour a day.

However, if you are producing lanyards in large quantities, you will choose ordinary thermal transfer printing because it is cheap and fast. However, some commemorative or special lanyards will use digital heat transfer printing, because the lanyards produced are more delicate and detailed, and can meet some more demanding requirements.
